Wascana Centre is introducing a brand-new program, Wilderness Explorers, for those who are looking for something that will get their boots wet and hands dirty, something wildly extreme! This program will dig deeper into more sustainable skills that will allow you to empower and become a steward of nature. We will be learning about soil sciences, and waste reduction, build composters, potato clocks and duck & bat boxes, as well as doing dissections and specie surveys by canoe!
Ages: 13-16
We have three exciting sessions, running on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the following dates:
- September 17 – Avian Adventures
- October 1 – STEM Experiment
- November 19 – Winter Wilderness Survival
