Trafalgar Overlook is located just west of Wascana Place and directly across the lake from the Legislative Building. It was designed to provide for a stunning view of Trafalgar Fountain from across the lake, as well as an unmatched perspective on the lake itself.
Trafalgar Overlook is the central point on the east-west axis, which connects the Legislative Building with Wascana Place and terminates at the Oskana Monument behind Wascana Place. The area directly surrounding Trafalgar overlook boasts a large fountain and a man-made pond which is lined with rock-filled gabions. These gabions create a natural and earthy look and can also been seen on the new Broad street pedestrian bridge.
