Go Cross Country Skiing or Snowshoeing
Visitors can cross country ski or snowshoe through the Centre’s green spaces. Please note there is no skiing on Wascana Lake (either side). The Regina Ski Club offers and maintains ski trails in Wascana Centre (Wascana Hill, the Canada Games Athletic Complex, Science Centre area). Go Ice-skating
Take in the view of Wascana Lake while you skate on our winter ice surface. The public skating surface is created at the marina below the Willow Restaurant is open and available for use once the weather can sustain the ice (Now Open). The venue is open from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm daily, with a heated change facility, washrooms and outdoor overhead lighting.

Walk, Run or Bike
Wascana Centre staff clears the trails in the Centre all winter long.

Birding
Birdwatching in Wascana Centre is a year round activity. Winter birding offers you an incomparable opportunity to view many species of owls, Blue Jays, Downy Woodpeckers, Common redpolls, Dark-eyed Juncos, House Finches, Black-capped Chickadees and more .

See a Show
Conexus Arts Centre offers a wide range of entertainment through out the year. From concerts, comedy acts, ballets, musicals, children’s entertainers to RSO performances, there is always something great happening at the CAC. Learn About Our Past
Visit the Royal Saskatchewan Museum to take in Saskatchewan's natural history and aboriginal cultures, past and present. See the various exhibits like Life Science Gallery, the Earth Sciences Gallery and the First Nations Gallery. There are also visiting exhibits and of course, Megamunch. Experiment
The Saskatchewan Science Centre provides an opportunity for families to play and learn together. They encourage experiments and feature over 180 hands-on interactive exhibits and various workshops and stage shows. Go to a Movie
The Kramer IMAX Theatre features 3D science, travel and nature-oriented films on the only giant screen in Saskatchewan. This IMAX theatre was the only one in Canada where you can see a movie projected on real film so for a movie (such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens) shot on film with Imax cameras you get the best resolution if shown on an Imax projector. See an Exhibit
The MacKenzie Art Gallery features exhibits and programs that run all year. From sketching in the gallery to storytelling and Studio Sundays there is something for everyone at the MAG. Take a Tour
Tours of the Legislative Building are offered 362 days a year – 7 days a week except on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday. The tours take approximately 30 minutes and are free. For more information on these tours: http://www.legassembly.sk.ca/visitors/

Wascana Centre offers two great restaurants: The Willow on Wascana and the Skye Café and Bistro. They offer fresh, local produce and support Saskatchewan farmers and producers.
