* Film Series on Climate Change at MacKenzie Art Gallery
Showing a “Planet in Peril’ at 7pm. How do we understand and respond to climate change, global warming, and the wide range of environmental issues that may seem improbable but overwhelmingly urgent? The need is real and the issues wide ranging: land-clearing and property development, aggregate mining, farming, clear-cut logging, landfilling, garbage dumping, incinerators, water pollution, sewage disposal, illegal fishing, poaching, hydroelectric dams, oil and gas development, flash floods, persistent droughts, spells of unprecedented heat, sudden landslides, raging torrents pouring down from breached glacial lakes, tornadoes. Where do we begin?
The Regina International Film Festival & Awards (RIFFA) and the MacKenzie Art Gallery are pleased to bring to Regina a trilogy of films by multiple award winner, Jennifer Baishwal. Mark your calendar to join us for the screening of three films over three weeks.

* Regina Disc Golf Association Walk in the Park League
This league is free and available to anyone who wants to play. There is no sign up required. There will be discs available for anyone who does not have their own, and knowledgeable players there who will help teach the sport to newcomers. League will be running all summer.
